Where I'm From
Growing up in a small fishing village by the East Sea, I was taught from an early age to build a different life for myself.
Study hard. Leave home. Chase a bigger future.
When Success Wasn't Enough
I grew up believing that success meant leaving behind the life my parents had built—fishing, drying fish, and making a living with their hands. Like many others, I believed my future lay somewhere bigger. Life became fast, stressful, and disconnected. Even meals became something to rush through rather than enjoy.
Coming Home
And every time I returned home, I noticed the same thing. I felt calmer. More grounded. The foods I grew up with—fresh fish, simple meals, natural ingredients prepared with care—felt more honest than anything I had been chasing.
Over time, I started seeing my hometown differently. What I once thought was small or ordinary, I now saw as something worth preserving. There was wisdom in it. Care in it. A quiet kind of honesty. It reminded me that good food doesn't need to be complicated—just real.
A Memory That Stayed
I kept coming back to a childhood memory—the fish we dried in the winter sea breeze, and how the neighborhood cats and dogs would always gather around. They didn't care about packaging or labels. They simply knew it was real food. That memory has stayed with me ever since.

And it eventually changed the way I thought about feeding my own pet. The more I looked at the pet food industry, the more disconnected it felt from the kind of food I trusted myself. So I decided to go back to something simpler.

A Note from Our CEO
Our dog, Roni—named after pepperoni—struggled with food sensitivities from an early age. Mealtime was never simple. He dealt with meat allergies, digestive issues, nutritional imbalances, and joint problems.
The more we searched for better options, the more frustrated we became. Most pet food felt heavily processed, overly complicated, and difficult to trust—even the products labeled “premium.”
That question became the beginning of Eastsea Brother. We started making treats with whole, wild-caught seafood, gently dried to preserve its natural flavor and nutrition. Nothing artificial. Nothing unnecessary. Nothing hidden. Just real ingredients you can see and trust.
